Desoluna is a 2BD/2BA, 944 sqft architectural sanctuary nestled in the heart of East Austin’s coveted Holly District. Designed by Davey McEathron Architecture and built by Rabb Construction, this sculptural retreat is defined by sweeping rammed earth walls and double barrel-vaulted roofs clad in soft green metal—an expressive fusion of organic curves and modern form. Inside, natural materials take center stage: white oak cabinetry, terracotta tile, black mist granite with leather finish, and a burnished limewash wall finish offers warmth and texture, while polished concrete floors are honed to expose vibrant natural aggregate for a terrazzo-like finish. Custom steelwork, including hand-forged railings, thresholds, and shelving, adds artisanal detail throughout. A private plunge pool is tucked within a walled courtyard, offering a tranquil escape. With its seamless blend of desert modernism, Art Nouveau, and local craftsmanship, Desoluna is not just a home—it’s a collectible piece of architectural art in one of Austin’s most creative neighborhoods.
